Welcome to Notable Thrift, where sustainability meets community! Founded by Alison Maclean in 2024, the store's mission is to cultivate a community of Earth conscious secondhand shoppers. When you visit, you’ll find a curated selection of pre-loved clothing, shoes, books and household items donated by generous individuals, all aimed at preventing them from prematurely going to landfills.

As the name implies, Notable Thrift is a thrift store (sale items have been donated), not a consignment store (portion of the sale price goes to the original owner). Inventory in the shop consists of salvaged items lovingly curated by the owner, and items generously donated by the local community. Any clothing we receive that is not sellable, is passed along to our recycling partner, Green Tree Textile Recycling, so there is no waste.

Our store is located at 1 Tree Farm Road in Pennington, NJ, along Route 31 near the Dunkin Donuts.

WHEN AND WHERE CAN I DONATE ITEMS?

We greatly appreciate your donations. They can be dropped off at the store during business hours. No appointment is necessary.

IS NOTABLE THRIFT A CONSIGNMENT STORE?

No, it is not a consignment store. We operate as a thrift store, where all items are donated for resale.
