About Notable Thrift

Welcome to Notable Thrift—where sustainability meets community and every item is given a second chance to be loved.

Notable Thrift was founded in 2024 by Alison Maclean with a simple but powerful mission: to create a space for earth-conscious shopping while keeping quality goods out of our landfills. In 2026, we (Brandy & Jeff McIntosh) became the proud new owners, honored to carry that vision forward while continuing to grow something meaningful for the Pennington community.

As a woman-owned, veteran-owned small business, we believe a shop should feel just as good as the items inside it. Our goal is for you to feel welcomed, comfortable, and right at home. Inside the shop, you’ll find a thoughtfully curated mix of pre-loved clothing, shoes, books, home goods, and unique treasures—many generously donated by members of our community who believe in giving items a second life.

Notable Thrift is, and always will be, a place built on connection—between people, stories, and the items that find their way here.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Our store is located at 1 Tree Farm Road in Pennington, NJ Route 31 near Dunkin’ Donuts. We’re easy to find and have convenient parking right outside the shop.

WHEN AND WHERE ITEMS BE DONATED?

We greatly appreciate your donations! Items can be dropped off at the shop during regular business hours—no appointment needed. If you’d like to donate outside of those hours, feel free to give us a call. If we’re available, we’re always happy to meet you at the shop to accept your items.

IS NOTABLE THRIFT A CONSIGNMENT STORE?

Notable Thrift is not a consignment store; we operate as a thrift store where many of the items in our shop are generously donated by members of the community for resale.

WHAT ITEMS CAN BE ACCEPTED AS DONATIONS?

Gently used women's, men's and children's clothing and shoes
Handbags, accessories and jewelry
Artwork, photo frames and home decor
Holiday decorations and household goods
Small furniture pieces
Gently used board games and jig saw puzzles

WHAT ITEMS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AS DONATIONS?

To ensure the safety and quality of our shop, we are unable to accept certain items.

Sporting goods and equipment
Medical supplies or medical equipment
Appliances of any size
Electrical devices or electronics
Paints, chemicals, or hazardous materials
Perfumes or toiletries
Underwear, bathing suits, or socks
